Primary Purpose of the Role
n
The NPI/Technical Transfer engineer will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of a duplicate production line. They will also be responsible for managing changes on the production line on an ongoing basis.

Major Accountabilities
n
Manufacturing activities
n
Work in compliance with ISO13485
n
Manufacturing readiness
n
Work with automation engineers to set up stations with required tools, equipment
n
Validation activities including, but not limited to, station validation, tool validations, gauge R&R;
n
Documentation of activities
n
Being first point of contact for production staff to help resolve issues
n
Engineering change management for production, processes and equipment
n
Co-ordination activities:
n
Liasing with various business stakeholders to ensure expectations and timelines are met
n
Clear documentation and status reporting
n
Key Performance Indicators
n
Adherence to timelines
n
Clear communication and prompt escalation of any critical items
n
Ability to work cross functionally
n
Position Prerequisites
n
Education: Engineering or Technology qualifications
n
Experience: 0-3 years manufacturing experience preferably Medical Devices, Automobile, Aerospace etc
n
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment would be looked on favourably
n
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
n
Proactive and assertive attitude
