This government is establishing a brand-new Microsoft tenancy and they are looking for a SharePoint Engineer to drive the design, configuration, and automation of a recent document management ecosystem. You will be at the heart of the Microsoft Program, designing and building a secure, scalable SharePoint environment that transforms how the organisation manages, protects, and shares information.

Key Activities

n
- Build and configure the new SharePoint Online environment; tenancy, governance, and security from the ground up.
n
- Design intuitive site collections, templates, and metadata frameworks to make information simple, structured, and accessible.
n
- Implement retention, classification, and sensitivity policies using Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance with PROV standards.
n
- Create seamless, automated workflows with Power Automate and Power Apps.
n
- Protect valuable information with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and advanced security configurations.
n




- Drive data migration strategies using tools like ShareGate and Migration Manager.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Minimum 5+ years of hands‐on experience in a similar role within a large, complex environment.
n
- Proven track record designing and delivering SharePoint Online solutions at scale.
n
- Hands‐on expertise with Microsoft Purview building compliance and governance frameworks.
n
- Experience implementing Power Platform solutions to automate business processes.
n
- Deep knowledge of DLP, security policies, and data migration best practices.
n
- Familiarity with PROV standards and the ability to turn compliance rules into elegant technical solutions.
n
- Strong communicator, collaborator, and documenter.
n
