JoinANDHealth, Australia's leading digital and connected health commercialisation accelerator. With $33 million of new funding from the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), our Non‐Dilutive Investment (NDI) function is looking for an additional Portfolio Manager to join the team. We're seeking a commercially astute Portfolio Manager to play a key role in selecting, supporting, and scaling Australia's most promising and innovative digital and connected health companies.

According to a 2024 L.E.K Consulting independent economic impact assessment, for every $1 invested in the program, ANDHealth+ portfolio companies raised $19.70 in capital and delivered $4.20 in gross economic value – delivering measurable impact for patients and the economy alike.

Your impact:
n
Our NDI Portfolio Managers deliver our ANDHealth+ program, as well as providing specialist support to two additional $50 million MRFF BioMedtech Incubator Programs (CUREator+ and CUREator+ Dementia and Cognitive Decline) in partnership with Brandon BioCatalyst. Working across the full lifecycle of ANDHealth's current and future non‐dilutive investment programs, you will:
n
n
- Support portfolio company selection and due diligence, incorporating feedback from investment committees
n
- Design and manage projects that de‐risk and enhance commercial outcomes for our companies
n
- Connect portfolio companies to vital expertise, resources and suppliers, and assist with portfolio management, program reporting and administration
n
- Collaborate across the organisation to deliver initiatives such as the TGA Software as a Medical Device education and office hours support, thought leadership and state of the industry reports, such as our "Giant" series of reports, and assist other teams with workshops and events.

About you:
n
You bring a blend of analytical, commercial, and relationship skills, along with a genuine passion for helping digital and connected health innovators succeed. Specifically, you'll have:
n
n
- A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, science, medicine, law or engineering (or a related field) or equivalent professional experience in an area with relevance to digital and connected health commercialisation.
n
- At least 2 years' experience in management consulting, commercial strategy, or investment – ideally within digital and connected health, medical devices, or health services.
n
- Knowledge of relevant health technology commercialisation areas (e.g. regulatory and reimbursement frameworks, market analysis, financial modelling, clinical evidence, or health economics) coupled with a desire to learn more.
n
- Excellent presentation and communication/writing skills.
n
- Exceptional research skills, with strong financial literacy and commercial acumen.
