Our client is a global leader in intralogistics and warehouse automation, delivering intelligent systems and end-to-end services to customers worldwide. They're seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join the on-site service team at a highly automated food-grade distribution facility in Heathwood.
About the role
You’ll maintain and support automated electrical, control and mechanical systems, diagnosing and resolving faults on live equipment with minimal disruption to operations. The role operates on a 12-hour rotating roster (5 days/nights on, 5 days/nights off), offering strong work-life balance and exposure to advanced automation technology.
Key responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated electrical, control and mechanical systems
Diagnose and resolve faults on live equipment
Support installation, modification, repair and optimisation of site automation equipment
Work closely with the Shift Lead to ensure safe execution of daily tasks
Use system data and analytics to improve performance and reliability
Provide technical support to customers, suppliers and international colleagues
Operate in compliance with strict safety, hygiene and food-grade standards
What you’ll bring
Electrical Mechanic Licence (or eligibility to obtain one)
Strong electrical aptitude with exposure to PLCs, automation or control systems
Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
