Electrical Trade Assistant – Marine / Auto Electrical
JSE Marine Electrical is a small, tight-knit team based in Lake Macquarie, and we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical Trade Assistant to join us.
This is a hands‑on role working alongside qualified marine electricians on a variety of vessels, assisting with installation, maintenance, and upgrades of marine electrical systems.
About the Role:
- Assist with installation of marine electronics and electrical systems
- General workshop and on‑site support
- Cable running, fit-offs, and basic electrical tasks
- Working across marinas and vessels in the Lake Macquarie / Port Stephens area
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in an electrical trade assistant role
- Auto electrical experience highly regarded
- Boating or marine experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- BIA Marine Card (required)
Preferred Certifications / Qualifications (or willingness to obtain):
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- First Aid
