We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team full time. A key objective of this role is to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, maintenance of employee records, and support processing activities.

Finance Officer

n

As the Finance Officer you will play a vital role in supporting our Directors in ensuring timely and accurate accounts and payroll processing, and provide accounting services across multiple group companies.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Taxation & Compliancen n
- Prepare, review, and lodge all required tax returns, including:n n
- BAS / IAS
n
- GST
n
- PAYG withholding
n
- Long Service Leave (MyLeave)
n
- FBT (if applicable)
n
n
- Ensure compliance with ATO and State Revenue Office (WA) requirements
n
- Liaise with the ATO, OSR WA, auditors, and external accountants as needed
n
- Stay up to date with changes in tax and payroll legislation
n
- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
n
- Manage and process superannuation, PAYG withholding, and payroll tax obligations
n
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
n
- Reconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts, and balance sheet items
n
- Monthly Progress Claims calculations and processing
n




- End of Month accounts processing
n
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
n
- Support year-end financial statements and audit processes
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
n
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) preferred
n
- Proven experience in an accounting role with hands‐on payroll and tax responsibility
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, payroll, and superannuation
n
- Experience with accounting software (preference Xero)
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
n
