Registered Nurse - Gloucester, NSW - Permanent, Full Time

Our client is a church-affiliated, not-for-profit aged care provider operating residential facilities across the Hunter and Mid North Coast regions of NSW. This is a permanent, full time Registered Nurse role at a 45-bed purpose-built residential facility, including a 12-resident dementia unit. The facility runs with a Residential Care Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator on site five days a week, and a stable team of two RNs on AM and PM shifts (around five care staff each) and one RN overnight (around three care staff), so you are never carrying the floor alone. The roster is set with flexibility across AM, PM and night shifts. You will be actively involved in hands‑on clinical care, resident assessment, medication management, and leading and mentoring Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants, reporting to the Residential Care Manager.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 1 year experience in Residential Aged Care, with an understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Minimum 2nd year post‑graduate Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Current general registration with AHPRA (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia), unrestricted
- National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance




- Demonstrated dementia care and behaviour management experience
- Australian work rights, or eligibility for employer-sponsored visa consideration

About the Location:

Gloucester is a small rural town set among the farming country of the NSW Mid North Coast hinterland, with local amenities including a Woolworths, primary and high schools, and a district hospital. The next largest town, Taree, is about an hour north‑east, and Newcastle is around an hour and three‑quarters south‑east, so you have access to a bigger centre without living in one. Relocating and settling into a close‑knit rural community is a genuine part of this role.

On Offer:

Pay rates range from $52.09 to $58.32 per hour depending on your grade and years of post‑graduate experience.
