St John's Lutheran Outside School Hours Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our welcoming and supportive team.

Our OSHC is buzzing with energy, laughter and a strong connection to the community. Located next door to the vibrant St John’s Lutheran Kindergarten and School community, we provide children with a safe, nurturing and fun-filled place to grow before school, after school and during holidays.

About the Role

As an Educator, you will:

Supervising and engaging children in a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences that promote learning, wellbeing and enjoyment

Creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where children feel supported and valued

Assisting with the delivery of engaging programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework and the National Quality Framework

Building positive relationships with children, families, staff and the school community

Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team

Undertaking Responsible Person duties when required

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, including maintaining a clean, organised and secure environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Diploma in Children's Services or another ACECQA-approved qualification

Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards

A current Paid Blue Card

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

Previous experience in OSHC, childcare or a similar education and care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, professional and proactive approach to your work

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development





A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service

Current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law
