Invisible Illness Exercise Physiologist – AHC

Active Health Clinic (AHC), Blackburn – flexible hours + some remote.

At AHC, we specialise in invisible illness – ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, hypermobility, long COVID, POTS, chronic pain and more. Our clients are often dismissed elsewhere. Here, they're believed, supported and understood.

About the Role

n

As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist you will:

n

- Assess complex presentations involving fatigue, pain, dysautonomia and PEM.
n
- Support clients to understand their symptoms and track their capacity.
n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Contribute to social media content in a simple, educational, low‐pressure way.
n
- Maintain transparent communication with referrers and complete high‐quality clinical notes.
n

What We're Looking For

- Accredited or eligible as an Exercise Physiologist in Australia.




n
- Passionate about invisible illness and whole‐person care.
n
- Empathetic, curious and patient.
n
- Comfortable contributing to social media content alongside the team.
n
- Understand (or want to learn about) PEM, dysautonomia, hypermobility and chronic pain.
n
- Value collaboration, communication and trauma‐aware practice.
n
