Qualified Diesel Mechanic – Workshop & Field Service

JV Hire Group, working alongside JV Mechanical, is a small, dynamic business servicing trucks, trailers, buses, and earthmoving machinery across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full-time role, based in both our workshop and field service.

About the Role

n

n
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles and machinery
n
- Workshop-based and field service work across Melbourne
n
- Work independently and as part of a close-knit team
n
- Complete job documentation accurately and on timen

About You

n

Qualifications

n n
- Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
n
- Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- HR/HC licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
n

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n




- Basic electrical diagnostics and wiring knowledge
n
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
n
- Valuable communication skills
n
- Comfortable using tablets and basic computer systems
n
- Willing to take on leadership responsibilities as required
n
- Takes pride in quality work and a clean, safe workplace
