A high-quality, ASAVA-accredited small animal practice located in Melbourne’s northeastern suburbs has a vacancy for a veterinary nurse to join the team.

This is a permanent part-time role working 2, 3 or 4 days/week.

The clinic hours are 8 am and 7 pm on weekdays, 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, and 9 am to 1 pm on Sundays and public holidays.

Standard shifts are 8 or 8.5 hours long. .

This role would suit a qualified vet nurse with at least one year of experience. You’ll play a key role in supporting the daily running of the clinic, combining hands‑on nursing with workflow coordination and team support. The caseload is wide-ranging and engaging, and you’ll be working alongside an experienced group of vets and nurses in a collaborative and friendly environment that values efficiency, teamwork and professional pride.

This is a busy and well-established clinic with a loyal, long‑term client base and a strong focus on delivering a high standard of veterinary care.

The practice is well equipped with in‑house diagnostics,



including blood machines, digital radiography, dental X‑ray and ultrasound. The team places a strong emphasis on staff training, smooth workflows, protected lunch breaks and finishing on time wherever possible.

Nursing duties include patient and client care, reception and communication tasks, triage, IV catheter placement, blood collection, anaesthetic monitoring, surgical preparation, admissions and discharges, appointment flow management and maintaining clinic facilities and equipment.
