Job Description

You will lead the design, fabrication, testing, and deployment of the mechanical systems for Möbius' flagship product line.

You will have significant ownership and autonomy in day-to-day operations and will work in a small team to accomplish goals rapidly with expert craftsmanship.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

n

- Owns mechanical system design through product release
n
- Leads physical product design and ergonomics
n
- Leads design for manufacturing and reliability efforts
n
- Leads prototyping and device fabrication
n
- Manages Engineering Lab: tools, supplies, safety, and process enforcement.
n
- Provides strategic leadership and leads future R&D; efforts
n

Qualifications

You should be confident, a strong leader, a fast learner, hungry, collaborative, a clear communicator, humble, passionate, disciplined,



and organized. Operator who delivers under pressure.

Prerequisites

n

n
- At least 5 years of experience building physical systems and designing products either professional or personal. Bonus points if you've released a product.
n
- Comfortable with CAD in SolidWorks, DFM, GD&T;, ANSYS or similar (optional)
n
- Experience machining with both manual and CAM tools
n
- Prior experience leading teams (optional)
n
- Demonstrated passion for engineering on a personal level (love of the game)
