This graduate position will support our Quality Assurance team based in Tongala, Victoria. While working as an integral member of the site-based QA team, the successful candidate will also contribute to and collaborate with the broader Quality Assurance function across the group.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Gaining a hands-on experience in identifying individual primal cuts, interpreting product specifications, and meeting diverse customer requirements.
n
- Learn the fundamentals of Process Control Monitoring, including the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Partial Quality Checks (PQCs).
n
- Build knowledge of product quality monitoring processes, with exposure to both carcass and offal products, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.
n
- Develop an understanding of AUS-MEAT and MSA grading systems,



including their impact on product quality, brand integrity, customer satisfaction, and overall eating quality.
n
- Participate in internal audits, gaining valuable insight into quality systems, compliance requirements, and operational approved arrangements.
n
- Contribute to management review processes by analysing performance data, identifying trends, and preparing presentations that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in either agriculture, agribusiness, animal science or any other related degree.
n
- Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
n
- Organisational, planning and time management skills
n
- Ability to adjust to situations and solve problems quickly
n
- A strong willingness to learn
