Job Description

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Operations team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee payroll data. Based in Huntingwood, this is a permanent full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision, deadlines and customer service matter.

About the Role
n
This role is heavily focused on payroll administration, high-volume data entry and data accuracy. You'll be responsible for processing employee information, maintaining payroll records and ensuring all changes are entered correctly and on time within strict payroll deadlines.
n
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll manage payroll-related transactions, investigate discrepancies, maintain employee master data and provide support across the wider payroll function.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Processing new employee onboarding information and payroll setup
n
- Maintaining and updating employee master data records
n
- Processing employee changes including remuneration updates, transfers and status changes
n
- Reviewing and updating payroll-related requests and enquiries
n
- Ensuring all payroll data is entered accurately and within agreed timeframes
n
- Reconciling and validating data to maintain high levels of accuracy
n
- Liaising with stakeholders to resolve payroll data queries
n
- Supporting payroll compliance activities and additional payroll administration tasks as required
n
n
About You
n

You Will Bring

- Previous experience in a payroll administration or payroll support role
n
- Strong data entry experience with high levels of accuracy
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
n
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage strict deadlines
n
- Solid organisational and time management skills
n
- Intermediate Excel skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive and team-focused approach to work
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- CHRIS21 experience
n
- Previous payroll processing experience
n
- Experience working with employee master data and payroll systems
n
- Exposure to awards, enterprise agreements or payroll compliance requirements
n
