About the role
n
In the vacation student finance role, gain practical experience supporting commercial and financial activities across a mining operation. Working with experienced professionals, you will help analyse data and contribute to business decision‐making.
n
Some of your work may include:

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
n
- Support financial reporting and analysis.
n
- Analyse operational and business performance data.
n
- Contribute to cost tracking and reconciliation processes.
n
- Assist with financial modelling and documentation.
n
- Work with stakeholders across the business to support decision‐making.

Northparkes Operations, NSW
n
One of Australia's most technically advanced mining operations, featuring block cave, sub‐level cave and open pit mining.
n
Roster: 5:2/4:3
n Included: Subsidised accommodation, flights at the start and end of the program, plus return travel over the festive period.

About you
n
We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands‐on and keen to grow their technical skills.

You'll be:

- Studying finance, accounting, commerce or related discipline.
n
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
- A strong problem‐solver with analytical thinking skills.
n
- A confident communicator and team player.
n
- Willing to live and work in a regional mining environment.
n
- Hold a valid manual driver's license.
n
