We are currently seeking experienced andcapableCatering Team Members to join our Point Vernon Aged Care Residence team in a Part-time role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to a high standard of work, whilst ensuring consideration and person-centred care is always provided to our Residents.

Assist in the preparation of meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
n
Ensure that food is plated and served at the appropriate temperature and consistency.
n
Plate meals accurately and aesthetically for residents, taking into consideration any specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
n
Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring their individual needs are met.
n
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas before and after use.
n
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
n
Dispose of food waste and garbage properly and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
n
Adhere to safe food handling practices and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
n
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP standards, and maintain accurate records related to food preparation, storage, and serving.
n
Robust customer service mindset with empathy for the elderly.
n
Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.
n
Experience as a cook would be beneficial.
n
