The Role

n

We're looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our Strategic Pricing team. This full-time role involves developing complex pricing formulas tailored to product family groups and requires a strong willingness to learn the ball bearing industry.

n

You'll partner with the Sales and Operations teams to gather market intelligence and incorporate it into pricing decisions and data analytics. This role calls for a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, analytical approach to uncovering insights that support informed, strategic outcomes.

Based at our Oakleigh head office, hybrid work arrangements will be on offer.

n

Key Responsibilities/Activities:

n

Manage pricing activities including contracts, customer rebates, and ad hoc pricing, while maintaining accurate pricing data across all systems (SAP/S4/HANA, Excel, C4C).

n

- Generate and analyse pricing reports.
n
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to ensure pricing accuracy, alignment and consistency.
n
- Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support to the Strategic Pricing team and management.
n
- Manage fixed price agreements and maintain related databases.
n
- Administer and update rebate contracts and percentages in SAP ERP.
n
- Occasionally collaborate across time zones.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Background in data analytics or pricing
n
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, table arrays, and PivotTables
n
- Proven ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy
n
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive, methodical approach
n
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
n
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
n
- Eagerness to learn new tools and systems
n
- Experience with SAP/S4/HANA, Excel is must
n
- C4C knowledge is highly desirable
n
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical products/tools is a plus
n

Qualification

n

Tertiary qualification preferred, or Year 12 with relevant experience

n
