About the Role:

As the Operations and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and people leadership of our very small group of Centres. Working closely with Centre Directors and the Owners, you will ensure that our services remain a leader in early childhood education through our positive community engagement, high-quality programs, that exceed industry standards and foster positive outcomes for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

Design and deliver high-quality early childhood services that attract families and educators while meeting regulatory standards.

Support and guide Centre Directors and Centre leadership teams to execute our values and objectives.

Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and our standards.

Oversee service presentation standards and ensure consistency across all centres in the region.

Manage the performance of each centre, ensuring rostering and recruitment are aligned with business goals.

Provide regular performance reports

Safety & Compliance

Champion our safety framework to maximise the wellbeing of children and staff.

Proactively identify, report, and mitigate risks and potential issues.





Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and resolve any issue effectively.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, inspiring a diverse team to achieve shared goals.

Mentor and support staff through professional development and engagement initiatives.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance our reputation and culture.

About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood education or childcare services.

Solid business and management acumen, including cost accountability and reporting.

Monitor enrolments and drive operational efficiencies.

Oversee daily operations and compliance across multiple childcare services.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA) or currently working towards this qualification.

Manage staffing, rosters, and resource allocation efficiently.

In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework, NQS, and EYLF.

Guide and mentor Nominated Supervisors to achieve high performance.
