About you

n

You're the drafter who understands clean documentation, smart coordination, and solid communication make the whole project hum. You take pride in producing work that engineers and builders trust.

n

Who is this for?

n

We're partnering with a leading engineering consultancy (the kind whose projects you've definitely seen around town) to find a Structural Revit Drafter to join their Melbourne CBD office. It's a permanent role with long-term opportunity.

n

You'll work in a small team, where the manager is Brisbane based so it's important you're reasonably self-sufficient already.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Producing explicit, accurate structural documentation in Revit and AutoCAD.
n
- Coordinating closely with engineers and drafters; checking, refining, and improving along the way.
n
- Liaising with consultants and contractors to keep everything running smoothly.
n




- Assisting the Drafting Manager with coordination and management of drafting activities.
n
- Modelling civil structures, retaining walls, gantries, culverts, bridges, all to engineering specifications.
n
- Creating and modifying Revit families as required (you may not yet be a pro at this).
n

What you'll bring

- Solid Revit Structures and AutoCAD experience.
n
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach to drafting.
n
- Confidence communicating across teams and disciplines.
n

We aren't looking for BIM modeller. The consultancy does have a digital engineering team. This role isn't in that team.. it's more about getting jobs that don't need the full BIM suite, delivered.
