About the role
We’re looking for a motivated Wills and Estates Lawyer who enjoys having autonomy (and support!) in their work. This is a true end-to-end position where you’ll manage your own files from instruction through to completion. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your career through mentorship.
You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit practice where quality work, attention to detail and client care really matter.
How you will do this:
- Manage a broad range of Wills and Estates matters from initial consultation through to completion.
- Draft and review Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and other estate planning documents.
- Advise clients on estate planning, asset protection and succession matters.
- Manage deceased estates,
including probate and estate administration.
- Provide advice and representation in estate disputes and contested Wills, where required.
- Liaise with executors, beneficiaries, accountants, financial advisers and other relevant parties.
- Build strong client relationships and provide clear, practical and compassionate legal advice.
- Manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively within the broader legal team.
About you:
- You’re an experienced Wills and Estates Lawyer ready to take ownership of your own files or being shown the skills you need to do so!
- Confident handling the full Wills and Estates process with strong attention to detail
- Skilled communicator with a client-first approach
- Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple matters at once
