About the Role:

n

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of products and materials, whilst guaranteeing quality of the production process in accordance with company expectations.

n

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

n

n
- Performing regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
n
- Rejecting all products and materials that fail to meet minimum quality expectations.
n
- Interpretation of drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
n
- Measuring product dimensions, examining functionality and comparing final product to specifications.
n
- Recommending process improvements and coaching the production team on quality control to ensure product excellence.
n
- Documenting inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
n

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

n

n
- A Trade Certificate, Diploma (or equivalent qualification)



with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
n
- Proven experience in compliance and auditing with project quality requirements.
n
- A forklift licence (desirable) with previous training and experience operating machinery.
n
- Added certification in quality control will be advantageous.
n
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office with good math and technical skills.
n
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
n
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and simple manner.
n
- The ability to work in a quick-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
n
- Strong time management skills and with an inherent attention to detail.
n
