About the Role
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing client invoices in accordance with engagement terms and firm billing procedures
- Completing AML/KYC (Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client) checks and client due diligence requirements
- Managing document control, scanning, filing, mail management, and electronic record keeping
- Coordinating all aspects of corporate secretarial services, including company incorporations, ASIC changes and maintaining statutory records
- Maintaining and updating share registers and unit trust registers
- Liaising with clients, Partners, lawyers, and other external stakeholders
- Processing ATO lodgements and monitoring compliance deadlines
- Assisting with the preparation and collation of financial statements and tax returns
- Ensuring documentation is signed, completed, and uploaded to relevant platforms in a timely manner
- Managing outbound communications with the ATO to assist with client matters
Skills & Experience
Ideally, you will bring:
- Previous administration experience within an accounting, legal, financial services, or professional services environment
- Exposure to corporate secretarial functions and ASIC compliance requirements
- Experience managing ATO correspondence and lodgement processes
- Familiarity with AML/KYC obligations and client onboarding processes
- Experience using MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or similar practice management software highly regarded
- Handling highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion
