Ayan Infotech are looking for a Performance Tester with expert level JMeter skills for a contract job prospect in Melbourne.

Title: Performance Tester (JMeter)

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid work)

Type: Contract (6 months +)

Required Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Have around 7 to 8 years of experience in Performance testing
n
- Creating non-functional requirement (NFR) scenarios and workload models
n
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, Gatling
n
- Web and API scripting using Groovy, Java, JavaScript, Python
n
- Identifying data requirements and automating data setup for performance testing
n
- Integrating performance tests in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Codefresh, or GitHub Actions
n
- Source code management using Git
n




- API mocking and service virtualization using Mountebank or Wiremock
n
- Client/server-side monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis using Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.
n
- Assessing system scalability, resource utilization and capacity needs
n
- Experience with containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP
n
- Writing and optimizing queries with joins and DMLs
n
- Understanding system resilience and failure injection
n
- Reliability engineering, observability, and automation mindset
n
- Application component deployment
n
- Use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to automate tasks
n
- Staying updated with new tools and technologies
n
- Communication and collaboration
n
