Haynes is currently seeking Machine Operator's to join our client's team on a wind farm project based near Gladstone, SA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the renewable energy sector and contribute to a large-scale solar installation.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Operate assigned plant (Roller, Watercart and Excavator) safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.
n
- Conduct pre-start checks and daily maintenance of plant and equipment.
n
- Perform earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and compaction activities to specification.
n
- Load, haul, and place materials using appropriate techniques.
n
- Work under the direction of supervisors to meet production targets and project timelines.
n
- Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and environmental awareness sessions.
n
- Report mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.
n
- Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of shift.
n
n
Whats on offer:
n
n
- Roster: 10 days on / 4 days off - roster starts on a Tuesday
n
- Hours: 10 hour days
n
- Pay Rate:
$50 upwards (dependent on expeience and tickets)
n
- Type: Casual
n
- Start: 21-07-2026
n
- $150 per day accommodation/food allowance - required to source your own accommodation.
n

To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Proven experience operating civil plant and equipment (roller, watercart, excavator, etc.).
n
- Construction Induction (White Card).
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
- Commitment to safe work practices and site compliance.
n
- Experience working on solar farm or large-scale civil projects (highly regarded).
n
- Ability to interpret site instructions and work unsupervised
n
n
