We''re on the hunt foran experienced People Business Partner to join a well-established organisation for an immediate short-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR skilled who enjoys partnering with leaders, managing complex employee relations matters, and driving best practice people initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

This contract is initially 8–12 weeks, with the possibility of extension or conversion into a permanent role for the right candidate.
n
The Role:
n
As the People Business Partner, you will provide trusted advice and support to leaders across a broad range of human resources functions. You will play a key role in delivering contemporary HR solutions while managing employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, workplace investigations, policy development and WorkCover coordination.
n
Partner with leaders to provide expert HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
n
Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, investigations and mediations.
n
Provide guidance on performance management, including Performance Improvement Plans and coaching managers through complex issues.
n
Interpret and advise on relevant employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR policies.
n
Support enterprise bargaining activities where required.
n
Coordinate WorkCover claims,
return-to-work programs and injury management processes.
n
Review and improve HR policies, procedures and people practices.
n
Analyse workforce data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, unions and external providers to achieve positive business outcomes.

Requirements:
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Previous experience in a generalist HR or People Business Partner role.
n
Strong employee and industrial relations experience.
n
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
n
Experience managing workplace investigations, grievances and performance matters.
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
n
The ability to work autonomously while building trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
n
A current driver's licence.
n
