Contract:12 months contract
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Planner to keep our site running safely, smoothly, and reliably. You’ll work with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

Develop, schedule, and coordinate preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
Coordinate annual maintenance programs, planned shutdowns, and major equipment overhauls.

- IBM Maximo Administration

Create, priorities, monitor, and close work orders within IBM Maximo.
Maintain accurate asset records, equipment hierarchies, maintenance histories, and spare parts data.
Monitor and manage maintenance backlogs to support effective work execution.

- Resource & Contractor Management

Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and contractor resources required for maintenance activities.
Schedule and oversee contractor works while monitoring performance and compliance requirements.

- Job Planning & Technical Support

Scope maintenance activities, define labor requirements, estimate durations, and develop detailed job plans.

- Stakeholder Engagement

Work collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, Supervisors,



and Trades personnel to optimize maintenance outcomes.
Ensure maintenance schedules align with production and operational requirements.

- Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with site safety standards, legislative requirements, permits, and risk management processes.
Monitor and report on key maintenance KPIs, including schedule compliance, downtime, backlog, and asset reliability.
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.

- Documentation & Cost Management

Maintain current maintenance records, technical documentation, engineering drawings, and manuals.
Assist with maintenance budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.

What We’re Looking For

- Trade qualifications or Degree in Engineering
- Experience within manufacturing, trades, oil and gas, energy, or similar industries/environments.
- Robust expertise in detailed maintenance work planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems (MEX experience highly regarded)
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
