Our clients are a mid-tier Top 50 Accounting practice in Sydney CBD. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Manager who is looking to take the next step towards equity ownership.

The Founding Partner is looking to transition their client base to the right person, creating a genuine pathway to equity and ownership.

This is far more than a Senior Manager position—it's an prospect to become a key leader within the practice and help shape its future.

The Opportunity

n

As the Senior Manager you will oversee a team of 15 while managing your own portfolio of clients generating approximately $800K in annual fees.

n

You'll become the trusted adviser to your clients, providing strategic business advice while ensuring exceptional service delivery and mentoring the next generation of accountants.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Business Advisory team.
n
- Manage workflow, review work and ensure technical excellence across the team.
n
- Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of established clients.
n
- Provide commercial, taxation and business advisory solutions across a diverse client base.
n




- Drive exceptional client service and identify opportunities to add value.
n
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal quality processes.
n
- Work closely with the Founding Partner on strategic initiatives and business growth.
n
- Play a key role in the firm's succession plan with a clear pathway to equity.
n

Experience

n

n
- 10+ years' Australian Business Services & Tax experience.
n
- At least 3 years' experience in a Senior Manager or Manager role.
n
- Experience within a Top 100 or well-established public practice accounting firm.
n
- CA or CPA qualification.
n
- Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skills.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
n
- A commercial mindset with aspirations to become a business owner.
n
