Position Overview

n

The Perioperative department comprises six up-to-date theatres and a day procedure unit with two endoscopy suites and two minor day procedure theatres. The role offers casual Theatre Technician shifts to support round‐the‐clock service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in the maintenance of the theatre environment to ensure a smooth and effectively run shift.
n
- Support a proactive, collaborative team environment.
n

n

Required Experience & Qualifications

n

n
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a grade 4 or higher Theatre Technician.
n
- Certificate IV in Health – Operating Theatre Technician Practice, or an equivalent qualification.
n
- Availability to work at least 1–2 shifts per fortnight.
n




- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient‐centred care and the ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships.
n
- Evidence of, or in the process of obtaining, a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
n
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
n
