We are partnering with a national family law firm to recruit a passionate and driven Family Lawyer (Associate/Senior Associate) for their Sydney team, and due to continued expansion, there is also an exciting opportunity to join their growing Melbourne office.

n

This is a full-time position for a lawyer with 3+ years of post‐admission experience, who is looking to develop a long‐term and meaningful career within a supportive, well‐established practice.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Managing a caseload of family law files with supervision as needed
n
- Drafting affidavits, applications, consent orders, and financial agreements
n




- Providing clear and empathetic legal advice to clients
n
- Attending court appearances and mediations where appropriate
n
- Conducting legal research to support complex matters
n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
n
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Minimum of 3 years post‐admission experience in family law
n
- Experience in parenting and/or property matters is highly regarded
n
- Strong drafting and legal writing skills
n
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in emotionally charged situations
n
- Organised and able to manage competing deadlines
n
- Compassionate, client‐focused, and eager to learn
n
- A team player who is proactive, professional, and adaptable
n
