DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Assistant Accountant Intern to support our client's accounting and finance team. This internship provides hands‐on experience and an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills for a career in both the accounting and travel sectors.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
n
n
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
n
- Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
n
- Assist with month‐end and year‐end closing procedures
n
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
n
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision‐making
n
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records
n
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
n
- Assist with ad‐hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager
n
- Exposure intocompany softwares MYOB, Employment Hero, and others
n
n
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
n
n
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong time‐management and organisational skills
n
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
n
