Our client is a Spatial computing and AI company, converging these technologies to empower agency and independence for people living with vision disability.
They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development:
- Develops proprietary software functionality to meet requirements, while ensuring the delivery of a high performing architecture over the full-stack of firmware and/or software;
- Translates product needs into Mobile & Cloud software requirements;
- Works closely with all engineering team members to ensure tasks are defined and completed as required, to meet project needs, deadlines and the company QMS.
Integration & Optimisation
- Coordinates integration of other software components from ARIA team members, and works closely with other team members to ensure integration is successful;
- Leads optimisation efforts to meet product and software goals;
- Reviews and integrates 3rd party components into Mobile & Cloud functions as required.
DevOps
- Creates and maintains testing frameworks for all required Mobile & Cloud components;
- Develops and coordinates the verification strategy for Mobile & Cloud functionality;
- Ensures tests and test results can be clearly reported on at all times via CI/CD;
- Executes software projects with an Agile framework.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and two years of relevant post qualification employment experience OR at least five years of relevant employment experience.
You will also need to demonstrate
- Proficient in coding languages such as Python, C, C++, C# and JavaScript;
- Proficient in the concepts and deployment of Agile and DevOps in software development;
- Experience deploying applications to Android and/or IOS devices
- Experience developing within Unity for XR/VR/AR or similar systems
- Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills.
