An chance has become available for a Business Services Manager to join an innovative, tech-forward CA practice. They have been providing Accounting, Tax, Corporate Advisory and CFO Advisory services to clients for almost 20 years and have become a prominent and respected firm in the marketplace. Their clients range from SMEs, corporates, family groups, investments to international businesses.

You will play a key role by assisting the Partners with the development of the business, as well as managing existing clients and the day-to-day activities and controls of the firm. This role will function in both an advisory and compliance capacity.

Some of the responsibilities include:

n

n
- Reporting to the Partner
n
- Managing portfolio of approx. $800k in fees along with 2-3 team members
n
- Preparation, delegate and review of compliance work including financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, FBT, etc
n
- Research and provision of tax advice on issues including FBT, Div7A, GST, CGT concessions, etc
n
- Tax planning and restructuring advice
n




- Maintaining strong relationships with clients in Australian and internationally
n
- Setting budgets, schedule workflow, manage delivery and deadlines.
n
- Mentor and develop staff and be proactively engaged in building strong relationships with all stakeholders
n

Applicants:

- Experience working in a Supervisor or Manager capacity in public practice accounting
n
- Strong computer literacy skills in particular with cloud-based programs
n
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
n
- Diligent and an eye for accuracy and completeness
n
- Ability to manage own portfolio and build on client relationships
n
- Experience in leading a team
n
- A willingness to be actively involved with team and the business
