About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Service Desk Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping communication, incident response and change activity running smoothly across the business.
This role sits at the centre of operations, acting as the link between internal teams, customers and key stakeholders to ensure updates are clear, timely and aligned. You’ll work across incident management, change management and service communications, helping maintain consistency, support service delivery and keep everyone informed.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, call centre, help desk or service coordination who enjoys working in a structured environment, following process and communicating with a wide range of people.
Other responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and communicate incidents, changes and service updates across multiple teams
- Act as the central point of communication between internal stakeholders and customers
- Support incident management processes, ensuring responses are within agreed service levels
- Help manage change activities by tracking timing, updates and customer expectations
- Maintain accurate handovers between shifts to ensure smooth continuity of serviceChallenge and align severity classifications against the agreed matrix and process
- Keep stakeholders informed through Teams, email and other communication channels
- Assist with reporting, trend analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to small internal projects focused on team development and process improvement

About you:
You’re a strong communicator who stays calm under pressure, thrives in a process-driven environment and knows how to keep people informed without losing attention to detail. You’re confident dealing with different personalities and stakeholder groups, and you’re comfortable having the occasional difficult conversation when process, priorities or expectations need to be challenged.
You may come from a call centre, service desk, help desk, customer service or coordination background, and you’re looking for a role where you can learn, grow and build a long-term career. Most importantly, you bring maturity, initiative and a genuine willingness to get stuck in.
You'll also bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, help desk or coordination role
- A process-driven mindset with the ability to follow structured procedures consistently
- Confidence communicating with a broad range of stakeholders and teams
- The ability to prioritize, stay organised and work well under pressure
- A proactive, go-getter attitude and willingness to learn on the job
- Sound judgement and the confidence to challenge or clarify information when needed
- A team-first approach and the ability to keep multiple parties aligned
Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
