As our new Consultant, Setting and Planning you'll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You'll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You'll drive value, connect assets to strategy and proactively respond to disruptive change.

Here are the key things you'll do:
n
n
- Work within our WA and NT region Environment and Planning team providing advice on environmental approvals, licensing and policy matters to clients and team members.
n
- Prepare a range of WA and Commonwealth environmental approvals (including EIAs, referrals and management plans).
n
- Work in early-stage environmental constraints and optioneering projects across the Renewable Energy, Transport, Resources, Water and Defence industries.
n
- Supporting environmental managers with project delivery and technically coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
n
- Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments, including research and analysis of legislative requirements and environmental considerations.
n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver better environmental outcomes, ensure project compliance and sustainability as well as liaise with stakeholders, clients and government authorities.

- Five years or more of demonstrable environmental approvals, licensing or management experience

- Experience with Environmental Protection Act WA 1986 (Part IV and Part V), Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (EPBC Act), and Mining Act WA 1978 strongly desirable
n
- Defence clearance eligibility is desirable but not essential.
