About the Role
n
Roulaana is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or ongoing employment, with an immediate start available (Keilor office – temporary) or commencement on Tuesday, 12 May 2026 at our Broadmeadows Central office.
n
You will step into a ready and active caseload, supporting NDIS participants across Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs.

The Opportunity

- 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential for renewal/extension)
n
- Based at our Broadmeadows office
n
- Tuesday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm
n
- Regular travel across Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs
n
- Face-to-face, relationship-driven role across office and community settings
n
- Immediate start available (negotiable)
n
- Established caseload of 35+ participants from commencement
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and functional assessments to identify participant needs, risks, and support requirements
n
- Deliver therapeutic, person-centred interventions supporting emotional wellbeing, capacity building, and independence
n
- Provide clinical case management for participants with complex needs, including crisis response where required
n
- Advocate in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct, ensuring participant choice, control, and informed decision-making
n
- Collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, trauma-informed supportsli>
n
- Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and reporting in line with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards
n

Requirements
n
n
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Social Work (essential)
n
- Current membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
n
- Experience in psychosocial assessments, case management, and care planning
n
- Minimum 1 years' experience within NDIS, disability, or community services
n
- Solid understanding of the NDIS framework, Practice Standards, and participant-centred approaches
n
- Excellent communication,
interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
n
- High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and ethical practice
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance with willingness to travel locally
n
- Fluent in any of the following languages: Syriac, Assyrian, Arabic, or Turkish
n
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
n
- Strong commitment to person-centred, relationship-based, and trauma-informed care
n
- Ability to manage a caseload autonomously and prioritise effectively
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- Willingness to travel for community-based participant visits
n
