What does a typical day look like in a Shop? In your 4-hour shift (or more if you like) you'll be doing a variety of tasks like:nn
- Welcoming and engaging customers
n
- Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments
n
- Sorting and pricing donations
n
- Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
n
- Keeping the shop clean and tidy
n
- Following all shop processes
n

What skills do you need?nn
- Friendly and positive attitude
n
- Sociable and engaging with others
n
- Happy to work as part of a team
n




- Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks
n
- Commitment to your nominated shift
n

What's the application process?nn
- No need to upload a resume – just tell us why you're interested in the role

- We'll then have a friendly interview in store and ask you a few questions and you can ask us questions too
n
- You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16)
n
- Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
n
- You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
