- Competitive Salary: $2936.50 – $4547.33 per fortnight ($76,584 – $118,635 yearly, incl. superannuation)

- Formal Qualification: Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Custodial) – required upon employment through Queensland Corrective Services RTO# 5292

- Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,000 for eligible recruits willing to move to regional centres (Capricornia, Townsville, Lotus Glen)

- Note:



Custodial Correctional Officers in correctional centres attract a 31.5% aggregated shift allowance; Court Unit officers do not.

Outstanding Experience Requirement?

No experience? No problem. You don't need prior experience or qualifications to apply, just a current open or provisional driver's licence. We seek individuals from all walks of life—trades, hospitality, education, finance, or Defence Force. Energy, empathy, and resilience are key.
