The Schools Officer is responsible for maintaining the school grounds, facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring Amberley District State School is safe, functional and well presented.

The role includes general maintenance, grounds upkeep, event set-up, safety checks and proactively identifying site needs and improvement priorities.

The Perfect Fit

The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance and grounds experience, a proactive approach, good practical problem-solving skills and pride in their work.

n

They will be reliable, safety-focused, able to work independently and as part of a team, and committed to contributing positively to the culture of the school.

n

Experience in a school or similar setting, knowledge of workplace health and safety, and the ability to plan strategically for ongoing site maintenance are highly desirable.
