An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Cardiac Technician to join our team. Sydney Cardiac Specialists and Forum Specialists is a leading medical specialist clinic in an iconic part of Sydney- The Italian Forum, Leichhardt . We are looking for an exceptional cardiac technician to join the team immediately. The opening is for casual employment (2 days a week, with additional days possible in the future)

We have a group of very successful specialist physicians, who look after both adults and children. The mission of our practice is to provide quality care and support to all our patients and we are well known for our service to both our patients and our community. Our cardiac technicians, work together with our medical receptionists, and are essential to our success. The clinic continues to grow, and there is scope for the right applicant to continue to advance their career along with this growth- it's a great time to join!

The applicant willbe required to work 09:00AM - 5:00PM for 2 chosen days a week. We are looking for applicants with experience in connecting ECGs, Holter Monitors, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Machines, who are happy to complete additional allocated reception/administrative duties, work in a fun collaborative team environment, and enjoy current challenges. Experience in analysing Holter Monitors, working with Genie, or in a cardiology practice will be looked upon favourably.

Key responsibilities

- Connecting and Disconnecting ECGs, Holter Monitors,



Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors and Event Monitors. Training is provided though prior experience is preferred.
- Supporting front reception desk and practice manager with administrative tasks that are allocated
- Supporting the practice to achieve its goal of providing quality care, and continuing to grow to support the local area
- Database maintenance of patient and other information
- Maintaining absolute patient confidentiality at all times

Experience and Attributes

- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical clinic is essential
- Past experience connecting ECGs, Holter Monitors, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Machines
- Exceptional computer skills, with experience using medical software is essential as the role requires a candidate comfortable with technology. Our practice uses Genie, and prior experience with Genie will be looked upon favourably. Training will be provided if you are unfamiliar with Genie
- Able to understand medical terminology and have an understanding of the MBS and item numbers
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload, with exceptional time management skills. The role requires high levels of self-direction and multitasking.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent customer service skills that demonstrate patience and compassion towards our patients and their families
- Able to work as part of the team, but also unsupervised
