Salary - Clerk Grade 9/10 $133,348 - $146,945 pa plus superannuation
What you’ll do
- Acts as a representative of Homes NSW as a steward of the housing and homelessness system in the local collaboration networks they support.
- Establish a shared understanding of local collaborative networks and support service partners to work collaboratively and collectively to make the best use of limited resources, prioritising and coordinating responses to local housing and homelessness issues.
- Develop and implement effective engagement strategies with service partners and other key stakeholders to enhance participation across local collaboration networks at both service system and care/person level coordination
- Build on existing partnerships arrangements in local network areas to support a consistent approach to local collaboration network governance structures. This includes service system coordination groups that take a strategic approach to working with network partners and care coordination groups that work with individuals and families through a cross-agency approach to triaging access to housing and support services.
- Embed local collaboration frameworks to support service partners to share knowledge, data and resources, plan, monitor and problem solve to coordinate local housing and homelessness responses.
- Incorporate within service system and care coordination planning commitments established through aligned governance structures such as the NSW Housing and Mental Health Agreement and district implementation plans, and Aboriginal regional alliances and local decision-making agreements.
- Lead coordination of service system and care coordination projects within the local network area.
- Collate data and evidence on local housing and homelessness issues to share with service partners for trend analysis and reporting purposes.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience delivering partnership, strategy or service delivery initiatives within government, housing, human services or comparable sectors, including delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement, partnership development or delivery of programs or reforms within organisational or government environments.
- An understanding of, and ability to apply, policy and system-level thinking within housing, homelessness or related service systems, or demonstrated transferable experience in similarly complex policy or reform contexts.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and working effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government, delivery partners and/or sector representatives, to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Knowledge of legislation, government processes and policy frameworks relevant to public sector service delivery or demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislative and policy frameworks in comparable environments.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
