Key responsibilities

- Welcoming patients and managing the reception desk
- Answering telephone enquiries and scheduling appointments
- Managing patient bookings and recalls
- Processing Medicare billing and payments
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Scanning, filing and managing correspondence
- Communicating with doctors, nurses, pathology and other healthcare providers
- Assisting with general administrative duties
- Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
