Responsibilities

- Develop first principles estimates for overhead transmission lines and/or substation from 66 kV to 500 kV
n
- Interpret drawings, methods and market pricing to build competitive tender submissions
n
- Work with the National Transmission Estimating Manager and collaborate with construction, engineering and procurement teams
n
- Support tender governance, reviews and BAFO responses
n
- Build first principles cost models
n
- Deliver accurate quantity take off
n
- Coordinate RFQs and assess pricing
n
- Maintain cost databases
n
- Define construction methods and rates
n
- Support tender pricing reviews
n

Requirements

- HV line and substation construction knowledge
n
- First principles estimating skill
n
- Advanced Excel and estimating systems
n
- Engineering degree or trade
n




- 8+ years infrastructure experience
n

Demonstrates expertise in first principles estimating for overhead transmission lines and substations, with a solid foundation in HV line construction and advanced proficiency in Excel and estimating systems. Capable of delivering accurate quantity take-offs and coordinating tender submissions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
