About the Role
n Are you ready to make your mark as a Senior Commercial Business Partner? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within the Strategy and Finance Group, where you'll have a real impact across the organisation. You'll take charge of management accounting for a diverse range of cost centres, playing a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and influencing key decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading budgeting and forecasting for more than 20 cost centres, guiding the company's financial direction.
n
- Delivering monthly performance insights that directly influence board-level and executive decisions.
n
- Using "what-if" financial modelling to explore scenarios and steer strategic choices.
n
- Evaluating business cases, assessing investment opportunities, and overseeing capital project accounting.
n
- Empowering budget managers and finance teams through training and support to enhance financial expertise.
n
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards,



legislative requirements, and company policies.

About You
n You're not just a finance professional—you're a strategic thinker ready to partner with the business and drive impactful results. You bring a solid background in management accounting and financial analysis, ideally within the insurance or financial services sectors. Your qualifications and skills include:

- A tertiary qualification in accounting (essential); CPA/CA qualification is highly regarded.
n
- At least five years of hands-on experience in financial or management accounting roles.
n
- A deep understanding of accounting standards, best practices, and financial analysis.
n
- Sharp analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, strategic decisions.
n
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); familiarity with Technology One is an advantage.
n
- Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a talent for negotiation and customer service.
n
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and developing others.
