Our client, a national organisation within the aviation industry, are currently seeking a Business Analyst for their Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP).
n
The ENMP will deliver updates to operational (mission critical) and corporate networks that will ensure existing systems remain connected to deliver safe, efficient and effective Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services
n
This is a multi-year program of work to modernise their network to enable a strategic change agenda. Over the next few years, ENMP will undertake an ambitious transformation program which will transition to a new IP network with new terrestrial, microwave and satellite components, and move to a managed service provider / vendor operated model.
n
As the ENMP Business Analyst you will be responsible for delivering IT Enabled Projects associated with the delivery of the ENMP body or work. ENMP Business Analyst will be assigned to IT service transition/migration projects as a priority.
n
n

Roles and responsibilities:
n
n
- Apply contemporary Business Analysis and organisational change practices when dealing with stakeholders, such as;n n
- Requirements elicitation, business process mapping and / or stakeholder engagement workshops
n
- Communicating all project risks, issues and dependencies in an effective and cooperative manner
n
- Maintaining relationships with key technical and business stakeholders Compliance, Systems and Reporting
n
n
- Align business analysis activities to industry best practice and ASA processes
n
- Stakeholder engagement and business analysis for the ENMP to understand the business needs as they relate to project delivery.
n
- Requirements definition and traceability using organisations standards and tools.
n
- Monitoring progress of project work packages, deliverables and products,
n
- Identify and report on risk and issues impacting service delivery and program performance
n
- Developing artefacts to define the outcomes for the organisation and resources required to support the delivery of these outcomes,
n
- Planning with the Master Scheduler and maintaining a project schedule that identifies work effort, roles and resources required, budget estimates, constraints,
n
- Aligning with the EPMO stage gates and organising stage gate reviews when required.
n
n
Essential skills and experience required:
n
n
- Must be Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance.
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in programme and/ or project delivery (ideally in relation to service transition / migration)
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives, internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately.
n
- Demonstrable experience with regard to interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation skills
n
- Demonstrable experience engaging with geologically diverse project teams
n
- High attention to detail and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
n
n
Desirable skills and experience required:
n
n
- Certification in BABOK (or an ability to demonstrate a deep level of understanding in business analysis methodologies)
n
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite
n
- Demonstrable experience regarding analytical thinking and problem solving
n
n
