Senior Java Engineer – 6 Month Rolling Contract (Sydney)

What you'll be working on

n

n
- Designing and building Java and Spring Boot microservices across high availability systems
n
- Developing React based front end components and integrating them with backend APIs
n
- Working within an AWS environment across compute, messaging, storage and deployment pipelines
n
- Improving reliability, performance and maintainability of existing services
n
- Collaborating with product, architecture and engineering teams on technical decisions and delivery outcomes
n

What you'll bring

- Robust commercial experience with Java 17 or later and deep expertise with Spring Boot
n
- Hands on experience delivering applications in AWS including containerisation and CI/CD tooling
n
- Solid React experience with the ability to contribute to front end feature development
n
- Background building enterprise grade APIs, microservices and cloud native solutions
n
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and deliver in a fast moving environment
