Are you a seasoned Infrastructure or Cloud Migration Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies and virtualization? One of our clients is embarking on a major cloud transformation project and is looking for an expert to lead the migration of their VMware Cloud Director environment to Azure VMware Services, leveraging Zerto Site Recovery.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of a critical migration project with a leading organization that values technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Conduct a detailed analysis of the current VMware Cloud Director setup to identify risks and define a clear migration path.
n
- Design and implement a robust migration strategy, covering system architecture, performance, and security considerations.
n
- Lead the end-to-end migration to Azure VMware Services using Zerto for seamless replication and minimal downtime.
n
- Monitor migration activities and report progress, ensuring smooth execution with minimal business impact.
n
- Engage with key stakeholders to align technical plans with business objectives and expectations.
n
- Deliver post-migration support, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
n
- Identify opportunities for optimization and cost-efficiency in the new cloud environment.
n
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
n

About You:

n

n
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
n
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure migration, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery.
n
- VMware Cloud Director
n




- Solid understanding of cloud technologies, data security standards, and migration tools.
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
n

Nice to Have:

- Certifications in VMware and/or Azure technologies.
n
- Exposure to other cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud.
n
- Knowledge of networking and storage systems.
n
