This position provides high level support to the Shellharbour Hospital (SHH) Emergency and General Medicine departments, including the respective Heads of Department (HOD), by providing timely administrative services to the senior medical workforce within each department.
The incumbent forms part of the SHH Executive Administration team and is required to be self-directed, capable of working autonomously and proactively, to meet strict deadlines and sometimes conflicting tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Shellharbour Hospital is a busy acute care facility which provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services on site. It's an accredited healthcare facility with the Australian Council on Health Care Standards (ACHS) and is recognised as providing a high standard of care to the community.
Located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, Shellharbour is known for its spectacular coastal scenery and is only a little over a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney.
