Medical Receptionist – Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy, well-established medical centre in Bayside.
n
This is a part-time position of 15–20 hours per week, with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave coverage when required.
n
About the Role
n
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing a busy reception environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
n
- Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
n
- Processing patient billing and Medicare claims
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records
n
- Liaising with doctors and allied health professionals
n
- General reception and administrative duties
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)
n
- Experience using Best Practice software (preferred)
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
n
- A professional, friendly, and compassionate manner
n
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
n
