Cold Xpress Refrigerated Transport is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit & Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in Rowville, VIC.
n
In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, credit control, invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations while building strong relationships with our customers. Working within a fast-paced refrigerated transport and logistics environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function.
n
- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
n
- Allocate incoming customer payments.
n
- Monitor outstanding debtor accounts and proactively follow up overdue payments.
n
- Conduct customer account reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
n
- Assess and maintain customer credit limits and payment terms.
n
- Build positive relationships with customers while professionally managing collections.
n
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries.
n
- Prepare aged debtor reports and assist with month-end reporting.
n
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
n
- Provide bookkeeping and general finance support as required.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
- Previous experience in a Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Officer position.
n
- Experience within the transport, logistics, warehousing, or distribution industry (highly regarded).
n
- Robust understanding of credit control and debtor management.
n
- Experience using accounting software Xero
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
n
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
n
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a busy environment.
