About the Role

We're seeking a reliable and experienced HR Driver to join our Melbourne Airport team in a full-time permanent position.

This role is responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of freight across the Melbourne metropolitan area, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

What You'll Do

- Safely collect and deliver general and express freight to customers
- Load, unload and secure freight in accordance with safety requirements
- Complete freight scanning and Proof of Delivery (POD) accurately
- Collect and manage consignment paperwork and manifests
- Ensure freight is packaged and transported safely
- Maintain a skilled and customer-focused approach at all times
- Comply with road rules, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and TGE safety procedures




- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly

What You'll Bring

- Current HR Driver's Licence - essential
- Previous pickup and delivery experience within general or express freight
- Forklift Licence - preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of freight scanning and POD processes
- Experience with load restraint systems and equipment preferred
- Understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules
- Strong commitment to safety and reliable work ethic
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment checks
